A KATSURA WOOD ÉTAGÈRE TABLE WITH LOTUS DECORATION A KATSURA WOOD ÉTAGÈRE TABLE WITH LOTUS DECORATION Japan, early 20 th century Finely carved from katsura wood (Judas tree), supported on four curving feet, with an upper and lower étage, each of irregular form and finely carved with a bed of lotus leaves and buds, some with inlaid wood seeds. SIZE 87.5 x 68.5 x 53 cm Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, manufacturing irregularities, and small surface scratches.
