Otto Höger (Hamburg 1881 - 1918 Rastatt), ,Familie beim Ostseeurlaub, 1909, black chalk on sand-colored laid paper, signed and dated lower right, 53 x 48 cm, stylistically clearly influenced by the Art Nouveau of his teacher Ludwig von Hofmann, the young artist deliberately chose modern, contemporary subjects such as the Wandervogel movement, war returnees or families relaxing in the fresh air, under glass and passe-partout in a golden wooden frame, overall size: 72 x 65 cm. Limit 180,- >> German painter, etcher and sculptor, pupil of the Hamburg school of applied arts and the academy in Weimar under H. Olde and L. v.
