Edvard Frank, Liebespaar nacktes, sich umarmendes Paar und im Hintergrund stehende Damenakt, with few skilful strokes applied pen and ink drawing on paper, around 1970, on the reverse stamp "Nachlaß Edvard Frank", on the reverse remains of old mounting, minimally light-stained, matted and framed under glass, mat opening approx. 20.5 x 29.5 cm. Artist information: also Eduard Frank, German painter and graphic artist. Painter and graphic artist (1909 Korschenbroich - 1972 Saarlouis), 1926-30 studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Trier under August Trümper and at the Kölner Werkschulen under Richard Seewald, 1930-33 at the Berlin Academy under Karl Hofer and Adolf Strübe, 1934-35 stay in Rome, 1939-43 with Strübe in Berlin, from 1945 active in Birkenfeld an der Nahe, from 1945 member of the Trier Secession, representative of the "Lost Generation", source: Vollmer and Internet.
