Mia Münster (St. Wendel 1894 - 1970 St. Wendel), ,Russische Zwangsarbeiterinnen, c. 1944, oil on canvas, signed lower right, 50 x 63 cm, from a series of paintings in which the artist depicted the consequences of the war alongside Grotemeyer and Zolnhofer from 1940 onwards, cf. the painting of the same name in the Stadtmuseum Simeonstift Trier, in wide gold molding with floral relief, overall size: 65 x 78 cm. Limit 800,- >> 1912 studied painting in Düsseldorf, 1919 attended the Academy of Graphic Arts and Book Trade in Leipzig, 1921-23 at the School of Arts and Crafts in Munich, worked as a commercial artist and illustrator, 1928-32 in Berlin; numerous exhibitions; commissions for building decorations, among other things; see: Walter Bruch "Mia Münster 1894 - 1970", St. Wendel, 1988
