A famous work of law from Lorraine, complete with printed title page and portrait. It is a study of the coutumiers of Lorraine. The work is attributed to Abraham Fabert, although he was only the publisher. Fine condition. Ex-libris Claude Hirtzmann.

Paris, Sebastien Cramoisy, circa 1634; oblong in-8, 25 plates mounted on strong modern paper, modern half-brown calf binding, 5-rib spine, slipcase. 25 engraved plates numbered 1 to 25. Complete edition. Two additional plates on La Motte were added to editions published from 1636 onwards.
