In-8 oblong of vi, 156, (2) pp. 97 plates out of text including the frontispiece representing plans of gardens, factories for their decoration and machines for raising water (including a plate of watercolored stained glass). Black half calf, smooth threaded spine (period binding). Third edition entirely revised by M. Boitard and enlarged with a large number of figures after drawings by Garnerey and other distinguished artists. Boards rubbed, a few small scattered brown spots, otherwise a good, complete copy.
