CHANEL: A SAUTOIR, FRANCE, 2007 CRUISE COLLECTION

CHANEL: A SAUTOIR, FRANCE, 2007 CRUISE COLLECTION A beautiful sautoir (or long necklace) finished in a gold coloured metal, faux pearls, enamel and resin. In Good Condition - Small scratches, missing some crystals. 50cm Coco Chanel said: "A woman should be two things: classy and fabulous." Wearing a piece of Chanel jewellery enables every woman to accomplish both of those feats. Chanel's costume jewellery offers a trendy and less expensive alternative to fine jewellery. The range of costume jewellery included items created from leather, ribbons, resin and gemstones made of glass. Many jewellery items are fabricated from non-precious metals. Using inexpensive and more accessible materials Chanel were able to create bold statement pieces or soft whimsical designs without an outrageous price tag. Moreover, Chanel costume jewellery tends to retain its value over time, unlike most non-branded costume jewellery that has no resale value.
