PIGNOTTI LAMBERTO (b. 1926) cartoon stamp - "I won!" 1968. markers, graphite and collage on paper. Cm 8x9. WORK OF VISUAL POETRY. These are a handful of works featured in important catalogs of the late 1990s, such as in the monographic volume edited by Martina Corgnati where you will find many of these cartoon stamps. Some of these specimens even appeared at the parking lot of Villa Borghese in Rome in a 1973 exhibition Contemporanea, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva; they were displayed in certain rooms together with Roy Lichtenstein's immense comic strips: one in front of the other.
