ILLUSTRATION FOR PINOCCHIO 1998 RAI 2.Pinocchio was an in-depth social and political television program that from 1997 to 1998 aired on Rai 1 in prime time, later (from 1998 to 2000), due to low ratings on the first network, it aired on Rai 2 in late evening (from 10:30 p.m. until midnight). The program was hosted by Gad Lerner, who was later called to the direction of Tg1, only to resign a few months later.Giorgio Carpinteri created the program's permanent sets with the faces of famous personalities from politics, culture and economics who were invited to it.
