Painter and sculptor (born 1942 in Züllichau/Pomerania), childhood in Berlin-Wedding, from 1954 pupil of Otto Nagel, initially from 1954 apprenticeship as an art fitter, 1959-61 studied at the Berlin-Charlottenburg Academy of Fine Arts, followed by stays with Joan Miró on Mallorca, representative of the "Junge Wilde" and the "Hippie Movement" of the 1960s and 1970s, member of the Bund Bildender Künstler Berlins, worked in Zimmerau, Berlin, London, Paris and Los Angeles (Hollywood), source: Wikipedia and the artist's website.
