Small wormholes on 4 spines (not serious), otherwise good condition. Scattered light foxing, not serious either. Uncommon edition, with a fine engraved frontispiece portrait. Nice bookplate. Courtiz de Sandras, who was himself a musketeer and met Besmaux, d'Artagnan's companion, published these "memoirs" in 1700, in which the true and the false are interwoven, and which DUMAS used for his novels.
