Henri Matisse, French ( 1882 - 1945 ) Colorful mix media stil life painting. Signed In pencil Lower right, H. Matisse. Measures: 17,5" x 15,5" in total, presented with matting under glass in an antique gilded wood frame. Matisse parents used to run a fabric store, when the Artist was young he used to fill his eyes with all different fabric forms and the flat clear and sharp colors of its design a fact that emphasized the flattend forms and decorative patterns on his work. This method appears clear in all his work until the end. This wonderful painting looks much better in person, both Artwork and frame are in good condation. Provenance, New York estate sale, this painting will be sold here as, on the manner of the artist, Attributed to the artist.
