Lajos MACK (1876-1963) pour la Manufacture Vilmos ZSOLNAY (1828 - 1900) Circa 1900-1905 Rare molded earthenware vase with symbolist decoration in the round of a couple of lovers above a starry sky. Beautiful eosin glaze with dichroic highlights. Signed with the five churches seal and numbered 517 (?) under the base. H. 30.5 cm (Cracks and restorations to the hands of the figures).

Agreement between 'King of Comedy' producer Mack Sennett and cross-eyed actor Ben Turpin, extending the term of an existing agreement and granting additional option periods. Neatly signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Mack Sennett and Ben Turpin, and countersigned by two witnesses. In fine condition. Known for his slapstick performances in silent films, Ben Turpin joined Mack Sennett's studio in 1917. Together, they created numerous successful comedic shorts, with Sennett's innovative direction and Turpin's unique physical comedy making a significant impact on early Hollywood cinema.
