Arnaud Vital Félix de la Fargue-Tauzia, born in Lot-et-Garonne in 1750, led a brilliant career as a gendarme in the king's guard. He was imprisoned during the Revolution between 1793 and 1795. He had a daughter Léontine with his wife Marie Catherine de Cabiran de Cabanes (1772-1844).
