Denis GARREAU (première moitié du XIXe siècle) Solid silver oil and vinegar cruet holder, bottle supports with four large palmettes, rectangular terrace resting on four ball feet. Central socket in silver-plated metal. Monogrammed LM on the terrace. Master's hallmark: barque, DG and remedy grain in a vertical rhombus, for Denis GARREAU, established at 62, rue du Temple in Paris, and received as Master in 1817. Title mark: "vieillard" for Paris (1819-1838, for silver 950/1000). Guarantee mark: woman's head left for Paris (1819-1838, large guarantee). 1819-1838 W.: 23 - D.: 12 - H.: 33 cm Total gross weight: 616.5 g (Break on the support of the grip, traces of use).
