Biography: A student of Luc-Olivier Merson, Léon Bonnat and Pierre Puvis de Chavannes at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, he exhibited first with Les Artistes français, then with the Société nationale des Beaux-Arts, appearing at all its salons between 1911 and 1940. He also took part in the Paris and Copenhagen Salons des humoristes.
