RICTUS (Jehan). Cantilènes de Malheur. Paris, P. Sevin et Rey, s.d. (1902). In-8, half vellum, title label on front cover, cover (Contemporary binding). First edition of these three cantilènes, written in Rictus's distinctive style, with a frontispiece by Steinlen. The copy bears an autograph dispatch to the poet Marius Gossez, author of Poètes du Nord: Hommage cordial. It also includes a l.a.s. (one page), and the autograph manuscript of the first cantilena Jasante de la vieille (six pages in-4), the one featured in Steinlen's engraving.
