ÉPHÉMÉRIDES DU CITOYEN, or Chronicle of the National Spirit. Paris, Delalain, 1765-1766. Together 6 volumes in 3 volumes in-12, half blue basane, smooth spine decorated, speckled edges (Binding of the first half of the 19th century). One of the rarest and most important economic periodicals of the 18th century, founded by Abbé Baudeau and published from 1765 to 1772 (INED, n°1737. - Sgard, n°377). Head of collection containing the first 6 volumes, published from November 4, 1765 to October 31, 1766. Among the articles in these volumes are those on rural depopulation, French colonies in the West Indies, grape harvests, national education in rural parishes, letters on ancient navies and spectacles. Wormhole on the last 50 pages and wetness on several leaves in the second volume. The end of volume VI (pp. 275-288 and the table leaf) is missing.
