BOUBON in Paris, Palais Royal. Empire period. Pink gold 750 ‰ pocket WATCH, spectacle case set with small half-pearls on obverse and reverse, white enameled and gold guilloché dial, chemin de fer hour markers, Arabic numerals for the hours, blued steel Bréguet hands, signed in a curved cartouche. Engine-turned back with rosette decoration. Mechanical movement with cock, chain and verge escapement. Circa 1810. Attached is a 750 ‰ gold vest chain with key and two-tone gold sliders with fleururette decoration. Gross weight of watch: 24.5 g (gold bélière) ; NET weight of chain: 8.7 g.
