Olympic Games/ Olympic Diploma/ 1928/ Emile-Barthélémy FABRY (1865-1966) Blank copy of the coveted diploma awarded between 1928 and 1974 to the great servants of Olympism (including Lindberg and Riefenstahl). Created in 1928 by the great Belgian artist Emile-Barthélémy FABRY (1865-1966), this powerful black-and-white lithograph, featuring Prometheus carrying the sacred fire, had a very limited print run (45 recipients, before it was replaced in 1975 by the Olympic Order). His works, influenced by Ingres and Puvis de Chavannes, can be found in major museums. Framed Size: 76 x 62 cm; with frame: 101 x 86 cm Small trace at bottom
