They all fell through, and this anonymous work in plaster is all the more touching for that: "Norge, 1940". War and peace seem to coexist here, and what if the omnipresent rings were a call for an Olympic truce? Some even saw in it a form of shield. And they were right, since this was the die for aluminum plaques designed to raise funds for the 1940 Games...
