PORSON Henriette (1874-1963) - HB QUIMPER "Sainte Anne des Bretons" Polychrome enameled earthenware group signed on the back of the terrace with "HB/ Quimper" mark, and titled on the front "Ste Anne des Bretons PPN". Height 37.5 cm x Width 15.5 cm A student at the Académie Julian in Paris, Henriette Porson exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1906. Collaborating with Manufature HB from 1930, she took part in the 1931 Exposition Coloniale. Only 16 pieces are listed, mainly depicting Breton women aged 7 to 77.
