MICHEAU-VERNEZ Robert (1907-1989): "La Cornouaille bretonne", RARE ET BELLE PLAQUE en faïence polychrome, featuring a Breton dance scene on a yellow and orange background with stylized motifs, signed lower left (one tile changed and dedicated to Jean-Claude BRETON, some craquelure). Manufacture HENRIOT Quimper, circa 1952. Dim. 90 x 120 cm. Commissioned in 1951, executed in 1952 by painter Henri Le Phuez. Former Jean-Claude BRETON collection. A document concerning the changed tile will be given to the purchaser.
