DREZEN (Youenn) - Kan da Gornog - Brest; Skrid Ha Skeudenn, 1932 - 1 volume In-4° in Breton language, paperback, partly uncut, in illustrated filled cover with title in color on the 1st cover (a few small tears on the covers, 1 small tear on the spine and body of the book detached, seams weak) - 8 pages numbered A to H, 10 pages numbered I to X, 22 pages numbered 1 to 22, resumption of Roman pagination from XI to XX, then 6 pages numbered from CH to L - Superb in-text illustrations, including full-page black vignettes and two-color woodcuts by René-Yves Creston, combined with his own Vulcain typography - A good copy inside, lettered on Hollande (K of the 10 first editions lettered from A to L, total edition: 150), enriched with 1 signed autograph letter from the printer to the false title and his Breton-language subscription form on 2 leaves. This mythical work had a major impact on Breton publishing in the 1930s. The text, written by Drezenn in 1929, was illustrated the following year by Creston, who also designed the layout. The book was printed in August 1932 by Francis Goinard on the presses of the daily La Dépêche de Brest.
