Dans le goût de Xavier PAUCHARD (1881-1948) - TOLIX, Paire de chaises industrielles modèle "A" en métal laqué blanc - H. 85 cm l. 45 cm P. 42 cm (très légères usures) Robuste et empilable, la chaise "A" devint iconique suite à son utilisation à bord du paquebot "Normandie" (1935). Xavier Pauchard se fit alors un nom parmi les plus grands créateurs de son temps tels que Jean Dunand, Paul Follot ou encore Maurice Pré.

Steen OSTERGAARD (né en 1935), Edition MODO, Chaise modèle "290" en nylon chargé en fibre de verre moulé, Danemark, années 1970, cachet d'éditeur au revers de l'assise - H. 74 cm l. 42 cm P. 48 cm (usures, traces de frottements et petits manques) Si Verner Panton fut le premier à créer une chaise en plastique moulé commercialisée par Vitra en 1967, c'est son compatriote, Steen Ostergaard, qui fut à l'origine de la première chaise en nylon chargé de fibre de verre moulé ("glass-filled nylon"), la chaise modèle "290". Matériau composite plus résistant et plus confortable, il incarne toute la recherche technique propre aux années 1970 et au "Space age".
