The first edition of this Belgian poster was created in 1894 for the Grande Brasserie Van Velsen frères Bornhem. The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in Imprimerie Chaix in 1895. It was part of the eponymous portfolio (plate no. 12), which featured reproductions of the finest illustrated posters by the great artists of the day.
