Savoy Charles II (1504-1553) Gold shield - MIR 383e (indicated R/8) AU (g 3.39) RRR The initials T BRVNAS indicate the mint of Turin and the mintmaster Bartolomeo Brunasso. This indication of the almost complete name of the mintmaster is of particular interest because usually mintmasters were indicated only by the initials of their first and last names.
