Provenance Private collection, France Note Rudolf Pleissner was a German painter born in Chemnitz in 1889, and a pupil of Hugo von Habermann. He is renowned for his city views, which he treated in a style close to that of Eugène Galien-Laloue (1854-1941) or Édouard Cortès (1882-1969).
