Dedicated by the artist "A son Altesse Royale Madame la Grande Duchesse de Saxe Cobourg Gotha, Respectueux Hommages". Signed. H. 15 cm - L. 16 cm Louis Maubert notably created the monument to Queen Victoria in Nice in 1912, a tribute to the sovereign who regularly visited the Cimiez district between 1887 and 1899.
