HERMÈS. Kelly bag 32 cm. Made in purple leather. It has a trapezoidal structure, slightly wider at the base, and a straight flap fastened with a palladium-plated hardware strap. With a short top handle and a long handle. In good condition Measurements: 32 x 23 x 12 cm. Designed in 1935, this Hermès model ended up being called Kelly when Grace Kelly appeared wearing it in 1956 in a photograph published in "Life" magazine, in which she used the bag to hide her pregnancy. This model is, along with the Birkin, one of the most coveted of the firm, authentic icon and flag of handmade couture. It takes about eighteen hours to make, and is made by a single person, from start to finish.

The Retourne version of the coveted Kelly bag, which literally means "inverted", is distinguished by its soft silhouette, being more flexible than other models such as the Kelly Sellier.
