Cigarette case in the style of Karl Fabergé. Silver, gold-plated and partially enameled. Rectangular with folded corners. On a flat, hinged lid an applied, crowned double eagle accented in white and black, set with diamond roses and colored stone cabochons. Royal blue enamelled and wave-shaped engine-turned ground, surrounded by a white decorative band and stylized, chased leaf tendril. Wall and underside decorated with corresponding leaf and wavy guilloché decoration. Marked 88. Weight approx. 205 g. H. 21 cm. 9.5 cm x 6.2 cm. A decorative Russian gilt silver and enameled cigarette case in the style of Karl Fabergé. Standard mark 88. Russia. 20th century.
