Painter and draftsman, García Tur was trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona, where he presented his work for the first time in 1955. Since then he has developed a long series of personal exhibitions in San Sebastian, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Barcelona and several Catalan cities. His painting is mainly dedicated to landscape, although he also cultivates the still life, within a post-impressionist concept, rich in matter and with a toned chromatism such as the one observed in the piece presented here. His paintings have a special lyricism that envelops the scenes in an intimate atmosphere, full of beauty and sensitivity. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions.
