In-12 speckled havana calf, smooth spine decorated, title page in red marble, triple gilt fillet framing the covers with gilt flowers in spandrels, gilt edges (period binding). Large epidermure at the bottom of the second plate, fine epidermures at the edges of the first plate, small gouge with lack at the foot of the first plate, otherwise a very fine copy. Wet bookplate from the library of Château de la Roche Guyon (La Rochefoucauld).
