A fine enamelled silver filigree censer, of spherical shape resting on a splayed foot with a cover imitating the form of Sultan Ahmed mosque featuring seven domes and two minarets, supported by three sinuous, slanted, S-shaped legs with twisted-rope design, resting on a rounded saucer stylized with silver filigree petals and inset with enamelled flower heads, the exterior embellished with polychrome-enamelled flower heads, mostly rosettes and carnations, painted in the tones of green, turquoise, white and pink, the filigree work mostly presenting conventional scrollwork and spiral designs. H 24 cm . D 21 cm.
