In-18 (13.5 x 8 cm) of 2 f. n. e., 251 pp. 1 f. n. e., burgundy long-grain morocco, gilt roulette framing the boards, ornate smooth spine, wavy fillet inside, gilt edges (period binding). Illustrated with a frontispiece and 5 out-of-text figures drawn and line-engraved by V. Adam. Articles concern toiletries, headdresses, artificial hair, jewelry, lace, gauze and fine cloth, fans, garters, shoes, beards and moustaches, luxury carriages, dances, etc. Minor restorations, edges of pages very slightly browned, rare spotting, otherwise a fine copy. (Colas, no. 629; Grand-Carteret, no. 1934).
