GUIHÉNEUC Henry (1831-1880), attributed to : EXCEPTIONAL earthenware VIOLIN in monochrome blue, decorated on the table with a scene depicting the presentation of the violin to its patron by the ceramist, two seraphim holding garlands and palms, and on the reverse with two genre scenes. On the edge, a frieze of six lovers and flowering foliage. Ref: P. 352 of the encyclopedia and P. 35 of the book "Quimper entra dans le monde des artistes" (large crack previously restored on the top of the table). Manufacture HB Grande Maison, circa 1880. Length: 59 cm.
