Reunion of 3 beautiful suites of watercolor-engraved costumes, comprising 78 engravings in the first edition: 18 French costumes, 36 Spanish costumes and 24 English costumes, drawn by Chasselat and engraved by Mme Couët. Each plate in this picturesque gallery is accompanied by an explanatory leaflet by Jean-Baptiste Eyriès. The first two works do not include the 2 sheets of notes on France and Spain mentioned by Colas. Marocco bookplate on upper flyleaf. Spine faded and a few freckles, otherwise a fine untrimmed copy in a signed binding by Montecot (Colas, nos. 1011, 1012 and 1013).
