Cabinet in gold lacquer on a black background, the sides, leaves and drawers decorated in hiramaki-e with pavilions in landscapes. It opens to reveal ten drawers. The top, sides, doors and interior are decorated with lakeside villages, bouquets of flowers and flowering vases on a black background. Chased and gilded bronze escutcheons, keyholes and corners. Late 17th - early 18th century (restorations). It stands on a console base in carved gilded wood with a dark patina. The front crosspiece is pierced with a large apron, resting on cambered legs decorated with scrolls, bunches of flowers and acanthus leaves. English work of the 18th century.
