IRAN, late 17th century Polychrome pigments and gold on paper On the front, a feline hunting scene, with an archer on horseback aiming at his prey. Inscriptions in Persian at top right, and probably a signature and date at bottom left. Verso a miniature depicting a woman on horseback with birds in flight, with a signature and date 1110 AH / 1698 AD in the lower left-hand corner.
