Flintlock pommel pistol. Round barrel with flats, chased in thunder with a trophy of arms and garlands, on a gilded amati background. Chased breech tail. Lock signed "Io.N.Vo NORDHELLE" (?) and flat-bodied swan-neck hammer, decorated en suite with trophy and foliage scrolls on a gilded amati background. Bassinet with iron sparkle guard. Brass fittings, cut and chased en suite. Counterplate decorated with military attributes and thumbpiece. Cherub-chased trigger guard. Long stock with horn and walnut tip, partly carved. Pommel chased with a trophy of arms, shells and foliage. Wooden ramrod. A.B.E. Austria, circa 1730-1750 (Traces of use and knocks on the wood). Length: 46 cm. Cal. 12.5 mm.
