. AUSTERLITZ. - DODE DE LA BRUNERIE (Guillaume)]. Autograph plan of the battle of Austerlitz. Black, sepia and blue ink, graphite, and watercolor highlights, approx. 34 x 35 cm; small missing folds. The positions of the two armies at the start of the engagement are shown. At the time of the Battle of Austerlitz, the future field marshal was in the nearby town of Brünn, some ten kilometers away, where he was commander-in-chief of the engineers.
