A late-17th century Unascribed English provincial silver Lace-back and Front Trefid spoon, maker's mark I.B twice, circa 1660-80, the reverse of the bowl with a raised rat-tail and foliate scroll decoration, the terminal with scroll decoration, the reverse of the terminal later scratch initialled 'R.B' over '1735', length 19.8cm, approx. weight 1.5oz. For maker's mark see Jacksons, Ian Pickford Edition, Antique Collector's Club, 1989, page 516.
