A matched set of eight George I silver Dognose table forks, by Joesph Barbut, London circa 1720, all engraved with armorials to the reverse of the terminals, three table forks are unmarked, total approx. weight 16.4oz. (8) The armorial is that of Bennett impaling van Nassau-Beverweert for Isabella van Nassau-Beverweert (1633-1718) who married Henry Bennet, 1st Earl of Arlington (1618-1685) in 1665. The arms are those of the Countess in her widowhood.
