Chirvan carpet (warp, weft and wool pile), East Caucasus, circa 1930-1960. The rug features a central polychrome medallion, linked by two small elongated medallions, extended by two pendants on a red background with large flower motifs on a navy blue counter-ground repeating the same design. A wide ivory border with double polychrome triangles is framed by two counter-borders. 187 x 114 cm (Wear, old restorations, fraying and edges damaged).

The rug is decorated with three large interlinked red and blue medallions on an ivory background, featuring animals and small geometric flowers.
