The globular body supported on a spreading foot and rising to a gently flared neck, the shoulder and neck applied with a pair of strap handles, covered overall in a pale grayish-blue glaze thinning to mushroom at the rim and edges of the handles, decorated with small splashes of crimson-lavender, and stopping irregularly above the unglazed foot. Provenance: Property of a Lady in the United Kingdom. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing flaws including pitting, bubbles, and glaze recesses. Minuscule chips to the foot. The shallow dish rising from a slightly spreading foot to a gently curved rim, covered overall in a lavender-blue glaze thinning to mushroom at the rim and boldly splashed with deep reddish-purple. The foot ring unglazed revealing the dark brown body. Provenance: New York trade. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, firing flaws including dark spots, and few minor chips to the foot ring. The inside of the foot ring with small old fills.
