DeMille, and countersigned by two Paramount representatives. In fine condition. Cecil B. DeMille's 1952 film The Greatest Show on Earth is a grandiose spectacle that portrays the behind-the-scenes drama of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Known for its elaborate set pieces and large ensemble cast, the movie features stars like Charlton Heston, Betty Hutton, James Stewart, and Gloria Grahame. The film won Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Story, and was nominated for several others.
