Three illustrated poetry notebooks Lot comprising three notebooks of manuscripts and poems dated February and March 1932, including a letter addressed to Lucienne Cornut, with whom René-Jean Clot had an epistolary relationship in Algeria. The three notebooks also include 18 watercolors depicting views of Algiers. 23 x 15.5 cm. (Wear and tears). Provenance: Lucienne Cournut, painter. Lucienne Cournut and René-Jean Clot exchanged letters during his stay in Algeria. Then through Lucienne Cournut's descendants.
