Wear and missing paint. 73 x 54.5 cm Youenn Drezen Collection René-Yves Creston embarked in 1933 aboard the legendary "Pourquoi-Pas". The purpose of this mission, led by Commandant Charcot, was to move the of the French polar mission, which had been installed the previous year on the east coast of Greenland and had been trapped in the ice for several months.
