In-12, paperback, untrimmed, pink cover printed with a large woodcut illustration of the Chinese on the spine. Rare popular printing illustrated with a vignette on the title and 4 woodcuts in the text: costumes of certain peoples (Samoyeds, Inhabitants of Senegal and the Sahara, America or Colombia), and the tomb of Mohammed. A good copy. Small stains on cover, leaf and cover margins creased.

Rare complete collection of these delightful little almanacs. Illustrated with 5 colored title vignettes and 31 plates engraved and stenciled by Georges Barbier. In addition to Barbier's beautiful plates, each almanac contains a calendar and texts or poems by Henri de Régnier, René Boylesve or the Comtesse de Noailles. A good copy. Covers and slipcases a little browned.

MONTESQUIOU (Robert de). Robert de Montesquiou calendar for 1903. Paris, Zurich, Lebre, [1903]. Paperback in-8, cover illustrated with a portrait of Montesquiou on the spine surrounded by bats. Small cut on spine, large light stain on back cover. 12 pages each featuring the month's calendar, a poem by R. de Montesquiou, a flight of bats and a woodcut vignette, all engraved and printed in metallic cameos and colors. A rare and beautiful brochure, with a sophisticated layout and printing.
