Rare pocket compass sundial. To read the time on the sundial, unfold the dial, aligning the dial axis with the South. The sun's time can then be read on the inner circle. The dial (held in place by a duck) folds away and the compass can be closed in its precious wooden case. Cracked glass. Dimensions of wooden case: 7 x 7 x 1.9 cm Compass diameter: 5.7 cm.
